place : Awaji, Hyogo
This is the creative direction including the logo and concept design of the place where various cultures intersect are built at the corner of the intersection. We named the place “inaya” from the former Inaya’s residence. inaya is —ya. (-ya means business name in Japanese, for example Sushi restaurant is called Sushi-ya.) We hope this name to be a general term for many store names opened at this place. We visualized the process of creating one whole place by various elements mixing and boundaries vanishing. We designed the store logo which opened in the spring of 2022. The logo of the curry shop “cotocoto” uses the compass of the clock as a motif from the boiling sound, and the clothes shop “AVET” expresses the form of Awaji Island.
